Dr Susie Khamis
is a Lecturer in the Department of Media, Music, Communication & Cultural Studies, at Macquarie University. Her research interests are in branding, food cultures, fashion media and national identity. She is Editor of LOCALE: The Australasian-Pacific Journal of Regional Food Studies, to be launched in 2011.
Dr Alex Munt
is a Lecturer in the Department of Media, Music, Communication & Cultural Studies, at Macquarie University. He has a background in design and works in creative practice-led research. His interests include screen theory, digital filmmaking, music video and fashion & design media.
Dr Jess Berry
is Lecturer in Art and Design History and Theory at the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University. Her research interests include fashion history and theory and visual culture and consumerism.
Maura Edmond
is a freelance arts writer and is currently completing her PhD at Melbourne University’s School of Culture and Communication. Her research examines music videos and histories of popular music spectacles on the screen.
Dr Jacque Lynn Foltyn
is Professor of Sociology at National University, La Jolla, California. She is author of the forthcoming Fashions: Exploring Fashion through Culture. Her scholarly critiques have appeared in fashion magazines, The New York Times, CBS 48 Hours, and the BBC.
Helen Warner
is a doctoral candidate at the University of East Anglia. Her research interests include fashion, ‘quality’ television, audiences and celebrity culture.
Stacy Anderson
currently manages all marketing and communications for BMI/Pace Architects in Toronto. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Business and a Masters in Strategic Fashion Marketing, with experience in the development and design of marketing strategies for companies in Canada, UK and Europe.
Dr Phylis Johnson
is an Associate Professor of media, at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. She has published extensively on Second Life media, virtual fashion and the art/practice of machinima. She is the reviews Editor (machinima) for both the Journal of Gaming and Virtual Worlds and the Professional Machinima Artist Guild.
