Sean Cubitt
is Director of the Program in Media and Communications at the University of Melbourne, Honorary Professor of the University of Dundee and series editor for Leonardo Books. He has published widely on media, media arts and globalisation.
Teresa Rizzo
lectures in screen studies at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School. She worked as a television producer for over a decade in the Australian pay TV industry and maintains a research interest in new forms of television. She completed a PhD on Deleuze and feminist film theory at the University of New South Wales in 2004. Her research in this area has been published in international journals. Her current research focuses on the affective dimension of film viewing and interactive media.
Alex Munt
is a Lecturer in the Media Department at Macquarie University. He has a background in design. His PhD is on micro-budget digital filmmaking.
Julian Murphet
is Professor of Modern Literature and Film in the School of English, Media, and Performing Arts, at the University of New South Wales. He is the author of Literature and Race in Los Angeles, and the forthcoming Multimedia Modernism.
Rod Taveira
is a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney, concentrating on the effect of cinema on the post-World War II American novel. He teaches in the Department of English, and the Department of Art History and Film Studies.
Peter Marks
is Senior Lecturer in English Literature at the University of Sydney. Manchester University Press will publish his study of the filmmaker Terry Gilliam later in 2008.
Mark Rolfe
is a lecturer in the School of Social Science & International Studies, University of New South Wales, with interests in rhetoric and political language, satire, propaganda and public diplomacy, democracy and the internet, Americanisation and Australian political leadership.
